The Allen-Bradley 2711-K9A2L1 is a DC-powered monochromatic keypad input terminal in the Bulletin 2711 PanelView Standard Operator Terminals series. It connects to a 24V DC power source and its maximum power consumption is 58 W (2.5 A). Its supply voltage ranging from 18-30V DC. It measures 9 inches and features a 640 x 400-pixel AC gas plasma screen. Its keypad input is designed for finger operation – gloved or bare.
The PV900M 2711-K9A2L1 Keypad Interface comes with a DH-485 communication port that allows connection to a DH-485 network, a Wallmount Power Supply (Cat. No. 1747-NP1), an SLC controller (point-to-point/ multiple), or a MicroLogix controller. It has the default settings of 31 for the max node address, 2 for the node address, and 19200 for the communication rate. To change the communication settings for this PanelView Terminal, go to the Configuration Mode menu.
Do not connect the 2711-K9A2L1 Terminal to an AC power source. For safety, the terminal should have its own branch conduit, and the power and signal units should be wired separately. When power is applied or the terminal is reset, the 2711-K9A2L1 runs a series of self-tests.
