2711-K9A3 Product Details

The discontinued Allen Bradley Panelview 900 2711-K9A3 is an operator terminal that enables the user to interface with their machine. This HMI has a 9-inch monochrome display. This Panelview allows the user to connect using Panelbuilder 32 software and a DH-485 and RS-232 Printer communication port with a 1747-UIC communication cable(s). The user is able to control the HMI using the Keypad to input information and data. This unit is powered using 120V AC power. This unit has the following internal memory: 1008KB. This unit has a non-replaceable internal backlight. The approximate shipping weight is 8 lbs. and the dimensions are 18 x 14 x 8 in. The most common Series are: A, B, C, D, E, and F and the most common firmware include versions 1.00-4.48. The DH-485 terminals are capable of point-to-point communication with a single SLC 500 or MicroLogix controller. There is also system communication with multiple processors over the DH-485 network. Direct data table access via DH-485 minimizes the need for additional ladder logic. Application files are easily downloaded or uploaded directly via the DH-485 programming port, through PanelBuilder32 on the DH-485 network, or with a PC memory card.

The Allen-Bradley 2711-K9A3 Terminal provides a configurable HMI solution for displaying, controlling, and monitoring status information. This compact human-machine interface is part of the Bulletin 2711 PanelView 900 Standard Operator Terminals series. It comes with a DH-485 communication port and an RS-232 printer port. It also ships with a memory card retainer that is used when the user is permanently installing a memory card with file applications in an electrical enclosure.
The 2711-K9A3 9-inch Keypad Input Interface features an AC Gas Plasma display with a 640 x 400-pixel resolution. The keypad may be operated with a gloved or bare finger. It has function keys (F1-F16), cursor keys, and numeric entry keys that include backspace and enter buttons. Applications are controlled by pressing corresponding function keys, while the numeric keys are primarily used to enter data manually.
The 2711-K9A3 Mono Series Terminal is an IEC 1131-2 Equipment Class I device that requires connection with the GND (Ground) or with an earth conductor (Protective Earth). It has an input power of 120V AC with supply voltage limits between 85 and 264V AC at 47-63 Hz. It has a maximum power consumption of 110 VA. For optimal product life and performance, the operating temperature should not exceed 131 ° F at a non-condensing relative humidity at 5-85% at 32-86 ° F.
