The Allen-Bradley 2711-K9A3L1 Keypad Terminal is a 9-inch Monochromatic HMI that comes with DH-485 and RS-232 Printer ports and 24V DC-rated input power. Any printer that supports IBM’s enhanced character set can be connected to its printer port. This PV900M device provides a robust operator interface for monitoring, controlling, and displaying status information. The 2711-K9A3L1 is part of the Bulletin 2711 series of PanelView 900 Standard Terminals.
The 2711-K9A3L1 Mono Series Operator Interface features an AC plasma display made up of 640 x 400 pixels. To perform operations and configure settings, access the Configuration Mode menu. This device supports memory cards where application files can be stored. The creation of PanelView Applications on a computer requires PanelBuilder32 software.
The 2711-K9A3L1 Terminal has a 24V DC nominal rating with a supply voltage ranging between 18 and 30V DC and a maximum power consumption of 58 W or 2.5 A at 24V DC. To avoid terminal damage, do not plug this PanelView terminal into an AC power source. Do not power the 2711-K9A3L1 using a DeviceNet network power or an I/O power on a controller as these power supplies may be over-stressed due to their insufficient capacity to power up the terminal. In case of problems, the red FAULT status indicator lights up for hardware or firmware malfunctions.
