The discontinued Allen Bradley PanelView 900 2711-K9A8L1 is an operator terminal that enables the user to interface with their machine. This HMI has a 9 in. Monochrome Display with an integrated DH+ and RS-232 Printer communication port.

The user is able to control and interface with the process through the embedded Keypad which is composed of function keys, numeric and to input information and data. This unit is powered using 24 VDC supply voltage and comes with an internal memory of 1008K bytes.

The Data Highway Plus terminals are capable of point-to-point communication with a single controller, as well as network communication with multiple controllers over an Allen-Bradley DH+ network. Direct access to controller data files minimizes ladder logic.

The 2711-K9A8L1 is a DC powered HMI that is typically installed in the factory floor. It exchanges data with controllers via the embedded Data Highway + (DH+) communication port. He DH+ port allows high-speed and long distance communication over a 3-wire cable. The HMI is the modern replacement of conventional control systems. Additionally, it has an RS232 printer interface port used for printing alarms and events for historization.
