The Allen-Bradley 2711-T9A16 interface terminal has been manufactured in the Panelview 900 terminal series. Like all of the Panelview 900 terminals, it has a touchscreen that is 9 inches wide. The 2711-T9A16 interface terminal's 9-inch touchscreen can only show monochrome graphics. Additionally, the touchscreen should never be activated or operated with a sharp tool that could scratch, puncture, or damage the screen. The 2711-T9A16 interface terminal comes with an RS-232 DF1 communication port and an RS-232 printer port.

The discontinued Allen Bradley Panelview 900 2711-T9A16 is an operator terminal that enables the user to interface with another machine. This HMI has a 9-inch monochrome display with advanced and sophisticated graphics that can visualize the monitoring and control system. This makes data acquisition in real time possible. The user is able to control the HMI using the touchscreen to input information and data. This unit is powered using 120V AC power. This unit has an internal memory of 1008 KB. The 2711-T9A16 has an internal backlight that is not replaceable. The approximate shipping weight and dimensions are 8 lbs. and 16 x 14 x 8 inches, respectively. The RS-232 (DH-485 protocol) The 2711-T9A16 terminal connects to MicroLogix and SLC 500 controllers using DH-485 protocol. The point-to-point configuration provides a separate connection for high-priority data.

The 2711-T9A16 can communicate with other devices through MicroLogix, PLC, SLC 500, and ControlLogix communication devices.
