The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T15C6D2 PanelView Plus 1500 Terminal features a touchscreen that measures 15 inches with color graphics and a DH+/DH-485 communication DC power logic module as well as 128MB of memory. All the PanelView Plus and the PanelView Plus Compact terminals feature universal serial bus (USB) ports which adhere to the hazardous location settings. The 2711P-T15C6D2, as well as the PanelView Plus 700 to 1500 terminals, are HMI devices with features such as graphics color-display modules with a keypad and touchscreen support. Also, they have an analog resistive touchscreen, Ethernet and serial communications ports, a modular communication interface to enhance comfortable add-on competency, memory expansion modules for field upgrades of up to 256 MB of RAM and 512 MB of CompactFlash memory. Other features include a CompactFlash card slot that supports the Type 1 CompactFlash cards, USB ports for connections to the mouse, keyboard, and printer. These terminals also have field replaceable bezels, standard or CE logic modules, and the same panel cutouts as the PanelView Standard and PanelView Enhanced terminals.
For the Allen-Bradley 2711P-T15C6D2 PanelView Plus 1500 Communication Modules, users can attach the communication module that has a network interface to a base-configured unit on the terminal to help enhance the communication capability with the DH+/DH-485 and ControlNet networks. These communication modules are easy to install on the logic module at the back of the unit. Generally, the PanelView Plus 1500 Operator Interface Terminal features a color display with a resolution of 640 x 480 and 18-bit graphics. The 2711P-T15C6D2 also supports input via the 40-key keypad or the touchscreen. These Modules use RS-232 networks and Ethernet networks that are available through the built-in communication ports. It also has two USB ports.
