It accommodates both DH+ and DH-485 communication networks, thereby enhancing flexibility in connected systems. Users can utilize a 6-pin Phoenix connector for DH-485 connections or a 9-pin D-plug connector for RS-232 communications.

Designed with resilience in mind, the module has operational shock ratings of 15 g at 11 ms and non-operating shock ratings reaching 30 g at 11 ms. It exhibits a vibration resistance specification of 2 g, guaranteeing reliability in dynamic settings. With an IP20 protection class, the unit provides a basic level of protection against dust and physical contact.

The communication module allows for a maximum network length of up to 3048 meters, thereby accommodating long-distance connections. It can effectively network with up to 32 devices within the DH-485 system, ensuring scalability.
