The 2711P-T6C20A is a PanelView Plus 600 with a 5.5-inch Color screen display, Analog resistive touchscreen input area and communication interfaces such as One (1) Ethernet, One (1) RS232 and dual USB interface.

The 2711P-T6C20A is typically installed in the factory floor to provide a rugged process monitoring and visualization by integrating data from one or more Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and other electronic devices. This operator terminal is certified by the c-UL-us, CE (EMC), CE (LVD), C-Tick and Marine and compatible for installation and operation application areas identified as Class I, Div 2, Group A, B, C, D, Class I, Zone 2, Group IIC (2), Class II, Div 2 Groups F, G and Class III Hazardous Locations.

The 2711P-T6C20A process visualization screen has an effective viewing area of 112 x 84 mm (4.4 x 3.3 in.) with pixel resolution of 320 x 240. The touchscreen interface may be operated up to 1 million presses with an actuation force of 10-110 g. When operating this terminal, it is recommended to use a gloved finger or stylus. Should contaminant build-up is noticed on the screen, the surface of this operator terminal may be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild soap.

This operator terminal has built-in Ethernet communication port for networked communication as well as RS232 interface which supports DF1 protocol. In addition, it has USB interfaces for connection of external peripherals such as mouse, keyboard, printer and external flash drive. This HMI terminal is powered by a Direct Current (DC) source with rated supply range is 100-240VAC with frequency of 47 to 63 Hz. The unit’s maximum power consumption is 25 Watts maximum (1.0 A at 24V dc).

The Allen Bradley Panelview Plus produces clear images while still keeping the power consumption of this device low with 85 to 264 Volts of AC (Alternate Current) Power.

This module’s aforementioned USB port allows connection to various devices, increasing the terminal’s overall versatility. The Ethernet port allows the Allen Bradley PanelView plus connected to the Ethernet network. Through the RS-232, this terminal can be connected to printers and a variety of other electronics. The connection of this device to a printer provides the option of printing out information onto paper. The same RS-232 port can also connect a storage device, allowing the device to access a greater amount of memory.
