The 2711P-B7C15A2 PanelView Plus 700 by Allen-Bradley is a user-friendly operator interface that allows for the easy control and graphical display of machine status via its HMI standard keypad and touchscreen. Users can set application parameters and control the machine mode through the 22 keys of the function, numerical, and navigational function keypad with a stainless steel membrane, and a million-press actuation rating. Users can also set application parameters and default settings and graphically view the machine's status and mode through the 6.5-inch thin-film color LCD. The touchscreen has a display dimension of 132 x 99 millimeters (5.2 x 3.9 inches) and a display brightness of 300 cd/m2 (Nits) at a resolution of 640 by 480 pixels per unit area.

A communication module with a network interface may be connected to the 2711P-B7C15A2 for enhanced ControlNet network capability. User parameters are stored in a 128MB internal memory, and the module uses a 128MB RAM for application processes. It has a battery-backed internal real-time clock with an accuracy of +/-2 minutes per month and the display module has an LED backlight with a standby time of 50,000 hours. It has an input power supply with a voltage range between 83 and 264 Volts AC at 47 to 63 Hertz and a maximum apparent power of 160VA.
