Beijer's Exter-150 is designed as an operator interface that enhances interaction between users and machinery. Its 15-inch display incorporates a TFT-LCD screen with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and a vibrant set of 64K colors. This high-resolution display gives users a vivid, detailed view of their operations.

The operator interface is powered by a 24V DC supply, which accepts a voltage range between 20-30V DC. During operation, it draws 1.7 A of current. Constructed with a front panel measuring 398 x 304 x 6 mm, it is relatively compact, requiring only 60 mm of mounting depth or 160 mm if clearance is included. Weighing in at 3.7 kg, it balances stability and manageability in various installation scenarios.

The Exter-150 also features a touchscreen option. It utilizes polyester material applied to glass, providing a responsive surface for user input. The rear side of the interface is made from powder-coated aluminum, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosive elements.

For data storage and memory, this device is equipped with 32 MB of flash memory, of which 12 MB is assigned for applications, and comes with 64 MB of RAM for superior performance. A Compact Flash slot also supports memory expansion, making it adaptable for extended use. The presence of an integrated buzzer allows for audible notifications, enhancing interactivity and user awareness.
