The iX-T12B-SC by Beijer is a sophisticated operator terminal for rugged use in various control applications. The 12.1-inch TFT-LCD touchscreen is complemented by a resistive touch interface, allowing precise input. The device is constructed from powder-coated aluminum, contributing to its overall durability while maintaining a weight of 2.5 kg. The terminal's dimensions are 340 mm in width, 242 mm in height, and 57 mm in depth, making it suitable for a wide range of installations.

This touchscreen operates on a voltage range of 24 VDC, accommodating inputs from 18 to 32 VDC, and consumes 22 watts of power. It features a built-in slow fuse rated at 3.15 A for overcurrent protection. The user interface benefits from LED backlighting that lasts up to 50,000 hours and provides industrial-grade dimming for various lighting conditions. Designed to withstand environmental challenges, the unit is rated for less than 85% non-condensed humidity and can operate within a storage temperature range of -20 to +70 °C.

Communication capabilities include several serial ports—two RS 232 ports (one configured for RTS/CTS communication) and an RS 485 port.
