The QTERM-G55 from Beijer's QTERM series is designed with practicality and features a 3.8-inch diagonal screen. It displays data on a 320 x 240 QVGA transflective FSTN grayscale LCD, ensuring clarity under various lighting conditions. The built-in LED lighting offers brightness that can be adjusted via software and is also temperature-compensated for consistent performance under changing environmental conditions.
This operator interface is constructed from durable ABS polycarbonate enhanced by a rubber overmold, providing tactile feedback and resistive properties against wear. Users can choose from three color options for the housing: gray, black, or blue. The QTERM-G55 has a compact form factor, weighing 520 grams in handheld form and 700 grams when mounted on a panel.
It features an intuitive key layout with 24 standard keys, with an option for a 40-key configuration if more input options are necessary. The keys' construction includes steel snap domes integrated into a membrane design.
The QTERM-G55 comprises 12-pin round connectors for handheld usage and DB9f for panel mounting. Additionally, it has modular 8-pin connectors (RJ45) that include Ethernet support, facilitating network connectivity and communication.
The unit supports 16 MB of RAM for efficient processing alongside 2 MB of flash memory for storage. When powered at 12 VDC, the device can operate on an input voltage of either 8 to 32 VDC or 5 VDC at 210 mA, catering to a range of installation scenarios.
