The SP5201 model from Control Techniques, belonging to the Unidrive SP series, functions as a highly capable AC drive suitable for three-phase applications. With an input voltage specification between 200 and 240 VAC and a permissible fluctuation of around 10%, it ensures stable operation under varying electrical conditions.

This drive supports a continuous current output of up to 105 Amperes, making it suitable for high-demand applications, while generating a CT power output of 30 kW, equating to 40 HP. Additionally, it can reach a voltage output range that spans from 0 to 240 VAC. The VT capabilities extend to a power output of 37 kW or 50 HP, accompanied by a current output of 130 Amperes.

For braking functionality, the SP5201 features dynamic braking through a built-in transistor and supports DC injection for effective stopping power. The drive is engineered to include closed-loop control for enhanced precision, although it does not support AC line regenerative function. This unit also adheres to an IP20 rating, signifying that it is designed for general installations where protection from liquid and foreign solid ingress is not critical.
