The Control Techniques SM-EtherCAT is a dedicated slave or follower module created specifically for use with the Mentor MP drive series. With a data transmission rate of 100 Mbps, the module supports rapid updates, which occur every 200 microseconds. In addition, it maintains a jitter measurement of less than 1 microsecond. These specifications facilitate precise and reliable communication in industrial environments.

The SM-EtherCAT's housing is crafted from plastic, providing necessary durability while keeping the weight manageable.
