The Cutler-Hammer HVX00514B1 is a Cutler Hammer® IntelliPass Drive module. It provides a main intelligent drive that is integrated with a reliable bypass configuration and includes Intelligent Technologies by Cutler Hammer. This module is an enclosed control drive and circuit breaker expertise, and a two or three contactor design using DC contactor and a 24 Volt Cutler-Hammer power supply. This module is a 480 Volt drive with 5 horsepower (HP) and a brake chopper option. The enclosure rating of this module is NEMA Type 1, with the module being made for indoor use to provide a degree of protection to personnel against dangerous parts, and to provide a level of protection to the equipment inside the enclosure against ingress of solid foreign objects, such as falling dirt.
To calibrate the ampere circuit breaker to be four to six times the value on the motor nameplate, turn the red set screw located underneath the bar extension circuit.
