The Eaton Cutler-Hammer S801T30N3D reduced voltage starter is a multi-functional soft starter for the industrial Eaton S801 line of reduced voltage soft starters that are designed to control the acceleration and deceleration of 3-phase induction motors. The S801 line of soft starters are designed to be very compact, easy to install, and easy to program, and they come with built-in overload protection and save maintenance costs. The S801T30N3D soft starter has an operating voltage range of 200 to 600 Volts AC, with a maximum current rating of 304 Amps, and a standard duty rating of 125 Horsepower. It has an average ramp time range between 0.5 and 180 seconds depending on the current application’s requirements.

The S801T30N3D soft starter has an internal bypass contactor with a 10-minute mechanical lifespan that helps to significantly reduce the heat generated by the soft starter and it has simplified wiring.
