The Eaton Cutler-Hammer S801U36N3S non-combination soft starter is an industrial multifunction reduced voltage soft starter form the S801 series of soft starters that are designed to start, ramp up, and stop 3-phase motors. This starter features a very compact design that allows for easy and simple field retrofitting, and it also features built-in overload protection, programmable overload settings, and built-in run bypass contactors for the control of the inrush current and reduction of the wear on belts, gears, chains, clutches, shafts, and bearings. The S801U36N3S soft starter has a 3-phase operational voltage range of 200 to 600 Volts AC at 47 to 63 Hertz frequency and a maximum current capacity of 360 Amps.
