The S801 soft starter family has a ‘soft stop’ option that allows for controlled motor stopping on high friction load applications, in addition to 3 other starting modes (the kick start, current limit, and ramp start). The S801U42N3S soft starter and every S801 soft starter helps to eliminate abrupt starts and stops that may damage machine components and extend the mechanical life of the system and reduce service costs.
