The Eaton SPX005A1-4A1B1A4CB Variable Frequency AC Drive is an open-type high-performance PWM adjustable frequency drive that is designed for the speed and torque control of high-performance industrial applications. This drive features higher micro-processing power than other drives with up to 4 times more CPU capability than conventional drives in its class, and it has built-in motor protective features like the overvoltage, over current, stall, underload, overload, and overtemperature protection that enhances motor performance and reduces downtime and maintenance costs. The SPX005A1-4A1B1A4CB Drive has an integrated EMC line filter and a factory-installed brake chopper which limits torque-generating energy from the motor. It comes with a detachable control panel that has a backlit Alpha-Numeric LCD screen with a keypad that allows the operators to set the frequency reference, choose the motor direction, and set the state of the “STOP” button. The drive also has an RS-232 connection, 9 indicators, and 9 push-buttons for the programming and monitoring of parameters.
The SPX005A1-4A1B1A4CB Drive has a 3-phase input voltage with a voltage rating of 380 to 500 Volts AC (at 50 to 60 Hertz) and an adjustable output voltage rating from 0 Volts to the rated motor voltage.
