The SPX007A1-5A4B1 Adjustable Frequency Drive is a microprocessor-based AC drive that belongs to the 9000X Series of Eaton Cutler-Hammer drives. The data logger facilities of this AC drive allow the users to analyze dynamic events in the system without the need for any external hardware. It is the logical choice for applications where reliability is essential for high performance. It also provides facilities for the high-speed monitoring of multiple drives with a PC. The SPX007A1-5A4B1 Adjustable Frequency Drive also supports incremental or absolute encoders. The starting torque rating of the drive is greater than 200%, depending on both the motor and the drive sizing. The control logic can be powered from an external auxiliary control panel, a Fieldbus module, and the internal drive functions if necessary.



 



The SPX007A1-5A4B1 Adjustable Frequency Drive provides greater protection for a system with its motor stall protection, motor under load protection, and short-circuit protection features. The standard applications of the drive offer freely programmable outputs and DIN3 digital input as well as some additional functions such as the reference scaling, programmable start and stop functions, DC-brake at a stop, and a frequency limit supervision function. The input option of this drive is the 3-phase, EMC H, and the AFD software input version which is standard. Some of the functions of the “Seven in One” precision application program includes the standard, multi-step speed control, and multi-purpose control function. The keypad of the SPX007A1-5A4B1 drive can display up to 3 monitored parameters simultaneously. The outlet air used for cooling the lower unit must be directed away from the inlet air that is used by the upper unit when several units are mounted above each other. This AC drive can use information from the encoder to provide accurate motor control facilities.
