The Eaton Cutler-Hammer SVX040A2-4A1N1 is an SVX9000 adjustable frequency drive with a voltage that ranges from 380 to 500V, with -15% and +10% voltage tolerance, the input frequency of 50 and 60 Hz that has a 45 to 66 Hz variation, and an HP of 40 HP. This NEMA Type 12 enclosed drive uses a standard software and comes with an EMC H three-phase input, and standard boards, but with no brake chopper present. This drive comes with two control options available for the operators’ use and these are open loop sensorless vector control and closed-loop control. Different safety features are also available for the SVX040A2-4A1N1 drive and these include protection from ground (earth) faults, undervoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature, motor stall, motor underload, motor overload, and short circuit. This drive should only be placed in a condensation and corrosive-free environment that has a maximum altitude of 3000 m or 10000 ft. When operating, its temperatures should be between -10 and 40 °C and it should only be stored at -40 and 70 °C temperatures.
