The SVX050A2-2A1N1 is an adjustable frequency AC drive from the electrical product line from the Eaton Corporation. The drive belongs to the SVX9000 series which is designed to provide unparalleled performance due to its high processing power. The SVX050A2-2A1N1, as with other drives in the same series, supports sensorless vector control and frequency control. The Horsepower rating for the drive is capped at 50 Horsepower and it can be operated by a voltage ranging from 208 to 240 Volts AC. The SVX050A2-2A1N1 is enclosed in a NEMA type 12 enclosure and it uses the standard adjustable frequency drive software. The Westinghouse SVX050A2-2A1N1 accommodates communication between drives and it monitors dynamic events through an integrated data logger, eliminating the need for additional hardware for such functions.

The variable frequency drive, as with other SVX open drives, supports full torque control even at 0 speeds, a torque accuracy of less than 2%, and a 12 megabits per second bus communication speed. Additionally, the SVX050A2-2A1N1 has standard integrated 3% line reactors which, although included, are separated from the chassis. The drive contains a standard keypad which has an IP54 international protection rating. The SVX050A2-2A1N1 has no chopper brakes.
