W200MLCFC

The W200MLCFC is a motor starter manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The starter has 3 poles and it is used with motors that have a Horsepower rating of 1 Horsepower when the starter is being operated with an input voltage of 230 Volts AC. When it is being operated with an input voltage of 460 Volts AC, the W200MLCFC can be used with a motor that has a Horsepower rating of 2 Horsepower. The W200MLCFC accommodates an input voltage that is supplied by a 3-phase source. The current rating for the W200MLCFC is capped at 27 Amps. If used with a Squirrel Cage motor, this motor starter has a rated output power of 7.5 Horsepower @ 200 Volts AC and 230 Volts AC; 10 Horsepower @ 460 Volts AC and 575 Volts AC. For Resistive heating, 3-Phase, 3-pole wiring, it provides 5 kilowatts @ 120 Volts AC; 10 kilowatts @ 240 Volts AC; 20 kilowatts @ 480 Volts AC and 25 kilowatts @ 600 Volts AC. For transformer switching, 3-Phase and 3-Pole wiring, it delivers 3.6 kVA @ 208 VA; 4.3 kVA @ 240 VAC; 8.5 kVA @ 480 VAC and 11 kVA @ 600 V.

The W200MLCFC has embedded protection functions such as Ground Current Sensing Protection, Phase Unbalance and Phase Loss. All these functions can be omitted using the Advantage Programming Module (WAPM). Being a NEMA size 1 motor starter, this device has Ground current senting value of 10 Amperes, lockout Current of 24 Amperes and a trip time of 0.4 seconds. For Phase trip time, phase level unbalance is detected @ 30% with a trip delay of 6 seconds while Phase loss trip is triggered after 2 seconds when current is below 1.15 Amperes.

The W200MLCFC AC coil has Inrush VA of 250 VA with Closed VA of 25 VA and Closed Watts @ 5 Watts. It has Pick-Up volts of 78 VAC and Drop out Volts @ 60 VAC.
