The W210M4CFC electric motor starter is classified under the Eaton Cutler-Hammer W200 series and it features a solid-state current sensing unit. The W210M4CFC current sensing unit provides the device with overload protection, provides the unit with phase loss protection, and it offers phase imbalance protection as well as ground current-sensing protection. The W210 series of the Eaton electronic motor starters feature identical parts with the exception of the circuit board to which the control wires are attached. The drives circuit boards differ with respect to the components and the software programs that run.
The W210M4CFC electric motor starter offers phase loss protection with the advantage starters option automatically opening within 2 seconds. The electric motor starter also features the phase imbalance protection which is a protection option that automatically opens within 6 seconds. This happens after the starter senses an imbalance between the 2 phase currents that have more than 30% of the trip rating. The W210M4CFC features the latest control technology available from Eaton.
