The Eaton Cutler-Hammer W211K5CF 3-pole horizontal reversing contactor is a reversing magnetic contactor from the Eaton Advantage series of remote switch devices that are designed to provide directional control to 3-phase industrial motors in critical applications. The W211 contactor family features a very compact design, communication capabilities, a high level of contact force, and more enhanced brownout protection than any conventional contactor in its class. The W211K5CF contactor is designed for a circuit with a maximum voltage rating of 600 Volts AC, and it has a maximum power rating of 75 Horsepower at 200 Volts AC, 100 Horsepower at 230 Volts AC, and of 200 Horsepower at 575 Volts AC. It has a continuous current rating of 270 Amps at 480 Volts (30 Hertz), and a 120 Volts AC control coil which controls the high voltage contact, allowing for current flow to the 3-phase motors.

The W211K5CF contactor’s AC control coil has an inrush rating of 2600 Volt-Amps, with a close voltage rating at 65% of the nominal voltage rating (60 Volt-Amps typical), and a pick voltage rating of 78 Volts AC. The W211K5CF contactor contact is made of a heavy-duty silver alloy material that gives the contactor a longer life span, and it has an operating temperature range between -40 and 40 degrees Celsius.
