The 92-00562-00 Modicon PanelMate 4000 Plus touchscreen interface is a rugged and cost-effective operator interface device from the Eaton Cutler-Hammer PanelMate Plus series that is designed to provide a high-quality graphical interface solution to industrial applications. This terminal supports the Windows pixel-based graphics capabilities that include 256-color (8-bit) support, object-oriented graphics, and third-party graphics packages support, and it provides operator input via its resistive touchscreen. The 92-00562-00 interface has an auto-sensing input technique with an operating voltage rating of 120 to 240 Volts AC (at 50 to 60 Hertz) and an acceptable input range of -15% to 10% of the rated input. It has a total power rating of 110 Volts-Amps (VA) and a continuous current rating of 1.0 Amp. The 92-00562-00 interface comes with 2 standard Serial ports (Ports 1 and 2) that can be configured for RS-232 and RS-422 communication.

The 92-00562-00 interface's serial Port 1 can be used for connecting a printer, connection to PLC (or host controller), or connecting to a personal computer for uploading or downloading data, and all of these can be configured via software configuration. The 92-00562-00 interface supports Modicon Modbus communication with a Modicon controller via the Modbus network by using the built-in Modbus Plus communication port. It also supports communication with the Allen-Bradley SLC 500 controllers through the DH-485 network using a “one-time-use” licenced Allen-Bradley patented diskette option. The 92-00562-00 interface has a keyboard port, an audio output port, contrast control switches, a power button, a fault relay output (Form C contact type), and a screen size control knob on its rear-end. The 92-00562-00 interface is designed for NEMA Type 12 or Type 4 installations, and it must be used in suitable environmental conditions.
