The Eaton Cutler-Hammer 92-00575-05 interface is a Modicon PanelMate operator interface terminal with keypad control and a color CRT display screen for graphically viewing machine-based processes. The 92-00575-05 interface has an operating voltage range of 120 to 230 Volts AC (auto-sensing) and an overall power rating of 80 Watts. It has a nominal current rating of 1 Amp and a peak inrush current rating of 25 Amps maximum. The 92-00575-05 interface has 2 standard serial ports (Ports 1 and 2) with adjustable Baud rates (110 to 38,400 Bauds) and configurable RS232, RS422, or 485-2 signal levels. The operators can use Port 1 as a printer port, for communicating with a PLC (Host) device, or for establishing a connection with a personal computer for uploading and downloading applications.

The 92-00575-05 interface also supports other high-speed industrial communication protocols like the Allen-Bradley Data Highway Plus communication, Modicon Modbus network, DeviceNet Plus, Remote I/O, and the Profibus DP communication protocols for the upload and download of applications. By using a one-time use diskette option, the interface can communicate with the Allen-Bradley SLC 500 PLCs through the DH-485 network and with the Modicon PLC controllers via the Modbus network (ASCII or RTU). On the back of this terminal is a 2-terminal audio output for connection to a speaker, a 2-terminal security keyswitch input for connecting an optional security key switch, and a removable fault relay “Form C” contact that is rated at 2.0 Amps at 28 Volts DC, 120 Volts DC, and 230 Volts AC and it can also be wired in a normally open or normally closed configuration.
