The 92-00597-03 Modicon PanelMate 4000 Plus Operator Interface is a single-phase AC powered operator interface terminal with a 14-inch color CRT display and a keypad for operator input. This terminal provides the operators with a graphical view of a machine process for machine control, trouble-shooting, and maintenance. The 92-00597-03 interface has a single-phase input voltage rating of 110 to 230 Volts AC at 50 to 60 Hertz line input frequency range and it has an acceptable input voltage range between -15% and 10% of the rated input voltage. It also has an operating current rating of 2 Amps and a total power rating of 85 Volts-Amps (VA). The 92-00597-03 interface has a removable audio output terminal, a keyswitch connector with the contact closure type, and a removable Form C contact relay output with 2 Amps of resistive load current at 240 Volts AC, 120 Volts AC, and 28 Volts DC.

The 92-00597-03 interface also has 2 serial ports (Port 1 and Port 2) that are pre-configured for RS232, RS422, or 485-2 signal levels. Port 1 can be set for connecting a printer, PLC (Host) communication, and connection to a personal computer (PC) for future uploads and downloads of applications. The 92-00597-03 operator interface can be configured by using a Windows-based configuration software, which allows the operators to select a screen template easily and set port parameters to match the PLC (Host) setting. The 92-00597-03 operator interface supports a 14-inch CRT color display unit for the graphical display of the application process and this display screen allows for operator input via 4 control buttons and a numeric keypad. The 92-00597-03 operator interface supports use in harsh factory conditions, and it is designed for NEMA Type 4 or Type 12 installation within a suitable enclosure.
