The 92-00597-05 Modicon PanelMate 4000 Plus operator interface has a support system and a 14-inch color CRT display screen. It is designed to be a low-cost interface solution to both PLC and Logic-based applications. The 92-00597-05 operator interface has a single-phase auto-sensing input with a 110 to 230 Volts AC voltage rating and an operating voltage range of -15% to 10% of the rated input voltage. This device also has a real power rating of 85 Volts-Amps (VA) and a nominal current rating of 2 Amps. The 92-00597-05 operator interface's screen provides the operators with a view of their application process, and it also supports 4-button control and a numeric keypad panel for operator input. The 92-00597-05 operator interface comes with 2 standard serial communication ports (Ports 1 and 2), and they are pre-configured for RS-232, RS-422, or RS485-2 signal levels and they can also be used for PLC communication, connecting printers, or connecting to a personal computer for downloading applications.

The Eaton 92-00597-05 operator interface can also be upgraded with a variety of industrial network protocols including the Profibus DP protocol, Modicon Modbus communication protocol, DeviceNet communication protocol, and the Allen-Bradley Data Highway Plus communication protocol. The 92-00597-05 operator interface has an internal flash memory for application storage and it comes with a battery-backed real-time clock.
