The Eaton Cutler-Hammer 92-00846-01 operator interface terminal is specially engineered and intended for providing a visual interface to PLC control systems. This terminal can be used by the operators to completely control, troubleshoot, monitor, and operate their Soft Logic or PLC-based control systems. The terminal also supports the main PLC networks as well as several industrial-based communications networks. The 92-00846-01 terminal operates with an input voltage range of 110 to 230 Volts AC at a frequency of 47 to 63 Hertz and with a power consumption rating of 80 Watts. It also features a 28 Volts DC fault relay for the external horn that provides external alarms and for the connection for exterior fault announcements. This terminal gives the users a complete visualization of their data through a 14-inch CRT color display (256-color) with a 640 x 480 pixels screen resolution as well as a scan frequency of 61.5 KiloHertz.

The Eaton Cutler-Hammer 92-00846-01 terminal features a touchpanel with a numeric keypad along with five recessed membrane-control keys for data input, control selection, configuration, and navigation through the application parameters. This terminal comes with 2 serial ports for communication purposes, and it also has a user-selectable baud rate with either RS-232-C or RS-422 ports that are designed for specific protocol communications and serial printer connections based on the PLC. It has a protective front panel that makes it suitable for NEMA Type 4 and Type 12 enclosures and it comes with an operating temperature range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. The industrial-based networks that the terminal supports include the DeviceNet network, Remote input and output PROFIBUS network, Allen-Bradley DH network, and the GE Fanuc Genius input and output network.
