The 92-01069-00 operator interface is an operator interface by the Eaton Cutler-Hammer. It belongs to the Panelmate 92** series and it is designed to work as an alternative part or spare part for the conventional Panelmate operator stations. The operator stations in the Panelmate 92** series can be used to communicate with several different controllers and different PLCs. They can also communicate directly to multiple PLCs, to controller networks, or to one PLC. It can also communicate with several networked PLCs simultaneously from one page. Panelmate 92** operator interface control stations like the 92-01069-00 operator interface can be used to connect to PLCs as well as different networks through a cable that directly connects to the network connection node, interface module, or PLC port according to the brand of PLC that is used. Most Panelmate devices support 2 serial ports in addition to a PLC network interface card.

Panelmate devices support a maximum of 4 serial port connections or 2 serial ports and a PLC network interface card. The 92-01069-00 operator interface and another Panelmate device can concurrently support a connection to a NetSolver application that runs on the same PC. They also support connections to the PLC network interface card and  connections to several OPC and DDE servers. This means that the Panelmate 92** series products, including the 92-01069-00 operator interface, simultaneously support connections to 2 PLCs or controllers as well as connections to 4 communication interfaces. However, these devices do not connect directly to the input and output points. Unless the Panelmate 92** operator station is operating on the PLC’s remote input and output network, it becomes the master device when it communicates to the PLC.
