7685ST-10C

The Eaton-Cutler Hammer 7685ST-10C is a classic PanelMate ePro PS terminal with a 10-inch TFT screen. It comes with an integrated color display, but display-less or “blind node” model is available for machines that already have screens. Operators can use the 7685ST-10C’s touchscreen to input commands and information.

The 7685ST-10C terminal protects the files stored in its operating system with its Protect Mode feature by ensuring that none of the data can be modified or corrupted. The terminal’s operating system is Microsoft’s Window’s XP Embedded or XPE operating system, which is a subset of Microsoft’s Window’s XP Professional operating system. The XPE system is easy to customize and it streamlines the 7685ST-10C terminal’s operations by eliminating unnecessary features from the operating system and preventing unwanted changes to the terminal’s software. The 7685ST-10C also comes with the PanelMate ePro PS Runtime software, the KEPServer-ePro OPC Server, and Drivers, and the Data Archiving and Recipe Management Licenses, though not all of these are pre-installed.

The 7685ST-10C terminal can communicate with other devices through its many ports. These ports are 4 USB 2.0 ports, a 24V DC In-Socket port, a Video Out (VGA) port, an Ethernet LAN port, a COM 1 RS232/422/485 port, and a COM 2 RS232 port. Make sure that none of the devices connected to the 7685ST-10C terminal consume more than 5 watts of power or they will cause the maximum operating temperature of the 7685ST-10C terminal to drop. Under normal circumstances, the 7685ST-10C’s maximum operating temperature is 140 oF.
