The Eaton Cutler-Hammer 7685ST-15C PanelMate ePro PS Classic operator interface features a 15-inch thin film transistor (TFT) display with 16 million color graphics and a stainless-steel bezel. This display has an XGA resolution of 1024 x 768 and its touchscreen operation works even with gloved hands. It also has an auto-dimming feature, with a replaceable backlight that has an average lifespan of 50,000 hours and a brightness rating of 250 Nits. The entire interface measures approximately 13.5 x 18.6 x 4 inches and weighs 17 lbs or 7.73 kg.

The available memory on the 7685ST-15C interface is 1 GB courtesy of an internal CompactFlash and it also comes with a 512 MB DDR2 RAM. You can expand the interface memory by using its external CompactFlash slot and it also has PCMCIA and USB communication ports. This interface uses a Windows XP Embedded operating system and it comes with C and D partitions. Note that this interface comes with an always-active Protect Mode feature that guards your files saved in the operating system’s C: partition.
