The 7685T-12E PanelMate ePro PS Enterprise Edition by Eaton Cutler-Hammer is a low-cost, high-performance, operator interface device with Microsoft Windows XP Embedded technology which offers the performance and quality of a PC-like operator interface without the associated complexity of an actual PC. The device offers a 12.1-inch, thin film transistor touchscreen display in 16 million color graphics with a resolution of (800 x 600) SVGA and a field-replaceable, Auto-dimming backlight with 50,000 hours of half-life. The device’s touchscreen interface has the resistive technology to accommodate gloved-hand operation, with 450nits display luminance, and it supports a virtual keypad, with alpha-numeric characters. It has 2 RS-232 serial communication ports, with 1 integrated 10/100MB Ethernet/IP port, and 4 USB 2.0 ports for connection to peripheral devices.
