The Cutler-Hammer 7685T-15OD is an outdoor series operator interface that belongs to the PanelMate ePro PS family. Designed for outdoor use, it offers specialized UV resistance and increased visibility. It features a 15.1-inch thin film transistor hardened glass color display on a painted steel bezel, operating with touchscreen technology and using Canvas SCADA software for machine interface development. Behind the display is a reflective film that is balanced by the anti-glare, anti-reflective, and anti-UV coatings in front of the screen. This construction provides superior outdoor visibility without the heat-generating components.
The 7685T-15OD Operator Interface ships with the PanelMate ePro PS unit and an accessory kit that includes a 3-pin power connector, user manual support CD, and three spare jumpers used to configure serial ports. On first-time power up, the PMStart.cmd command file will launch the PanelMate Power Pro Document Viewer demo configuration (DVDemo.pps). To meet the demands of high-performance applications, this ePro unit comes with an embedded Microsoft Windows XP operating system. This unit’s operating system and software are protected by the Exclusive Protect Mode.
The 7685T-15OD comes with a VGA port, one serial port, one Ethernet port, two PCMCIA ports, one removable CompactFlash port, and four USB ports for communication. It supports Ethernet IP, Modbus TCP, and ProfiNet drivers and supports downloading and uploading data via USB connection or Ethernet. It also features three simultaneous protocols, third-party software supports, and screen savers. This OI device is ideal for diagnostic and monitoring applications including operator controls for set point adjustments and critical start/stop, ramp/jog operations. It can also be adapted for a range of user requirements.
