The 7685T-8OD Panel Mate epros PS Out-door (OD) Interface by Eaton Cutler-Hammer, is an out-door operator interface device, which offers a high-performance, flexibility, and cost-effective graphical operator display interface. The devices offer an 8.4 inches color, TFT, touchscreen input, with a resistive touchscreen interface technology for gloved-hand operation, and an 800 x 600 SVGA resolution in 16 million colors. It provides 425 nits of display brightness, and it is fitted with a field-replaceable auto-dimming backlight, with about 50,000 hours of display half-life. It has 1GB of internal memory, with approximately 80 MB of write-protected user storage memory, and a 512MB DDR2 RAM, and it supports a removable compact flash memory with a memory expansion up to 16GB.

The device communicates via a single integrated 10/100Base-T Ethernet/IP port, 2 optically-isolated RS-232 and RS-232/422/485 serial ports, 4 USB version 2.0 port for peripheral connection, 2 PCMCIA Type II slots, and 1 video output port. It processes user application parameters via its 1 GHz, C7 M Processor, and it runs on the Microsoft Windows XP Embedded SP2, with compatibility for the Canvas Software PC runtime, and the Kepware software. The 7685T-8OD has an input requirement of 16-30V DC (24V DC nom), at 1.3A input current, and an inrush current of 7A. It has an operating temperature range of 0-60oC, at 20-90% non-condensing relative humidity limits, and it can completely withstand about 100G operational shock, and a 1G vibration at 5-500Hz. The 7685T-8OD weighs approximately 2.73kg (6lbs), with an overall area of 193.8mm x 267.0mm x 99.1mm (7.63in x 10.51in x 3.9in), and it is CE, RoHS, UL, c-UL, and CSA-certified.
