The 1755T-PMPP-1700 terminal is an industrial operator terminal with an acrylic touchscreen enabled flatpanel display for operator input. It is part of the PowerMate Power Pro product line from the Eaton Corporation. The 1755T-PMPP-1700 terminal includes a display with electronics modules and on-screen 3 x 5 cell control selection, non-intrusive pop-ups, an on-screen numeric keypad, and 4 redefinable on-screen control buttons. The power consumption and current consumption of the 1755T-PMPP-1700 terminal are 23 Watts and 1.1 Amps, respectively. The unit is compatible with 24 Volts DC input. The size of the 256-level grayscale display on the 1755T-PMPP-1700 terminal is 7.4 inches. The display is based on Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) technology. The display has VGA resolution (640 x 480). There are 2 integrated serial ports on the 1755T-PMPP-1700 terminal which support RS-232 and RS-422 communication.

The serial interfaces can be used to communicate with serial printers for the printing of alarms and messages and for serial communication with other devices. When the 1755T-PMPP-1700 terminal is mounted properly in a correspondingly rated enclosure, it is approved for use in Type 12, 4X, and 4 rated installations. The unit firmware is stored in the NV (non-volatile) flash memory and it can be upgraded easily. The unit comes with an internal clock which is battery-backed and which supports synchronization with external clock sources. The 1755T-PMPP-1700 terminal is capable of storing up to 5000 hundred-page messages. The 1755T-PMPP-1700 terminal meets the UL/CSA Class I Division 2 Groups A, B, C, and D requirements. It also meets the CE, CSA, and UL requirements. Several optional interface boards are available for applications that require connectivity for different networks.
