The Eaton 1785T-PMPP-1700 terminal is an operator interface terminal. Eaton Cutler-Hammer has designed and manufactured this terminal in the PanelMate Power Pro series for industrial system control  applications. The operator terminal  requires 24 Volts DC input voltage. Its current draw is 1.1 Amps and the maximum power draw is 28 Watts. The 1785T-PMPP-1700 terminal has an 8-inch TFT display screen. The display resolution of the terminal is 640 x 480 pixels. The display screen’s backlight is field-replaceable. The display also supports touch control with resistive technology that can receive touch commands even when the users are wearing gloves. The 1785T-PMPP-1700 terminal has a single-piece design for easy panel mounting. Two serial ports are standard features on the terminal. These serial ports are configurable for RS-232 or RS-422/RS-485 communication. The supported baud rate range is 110 to 19200 baud. Compatible option cards include Modbus Plus, Profibus, Allen-Bradley DH/DH+/Remote I/O, and DeviceNet option cards.

Built-in templates for the terminal include on-screen replacements for gauges and numeric readouts The operator interface's storage capacity includes 100 pages and 5000 messages. The 1785T-PMPP-1700 terminal is designed for NEMA Type 4/4X or 12 enclosures. The heat dissipated by the terminal during operation is 23 Watts or 79 BTU per hour. The operating temperature range of the terminal is from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. The non-operating or storage temperature range of the terminal is -20 to 60 degrees Celsius. The dimensions of the 1785T-PMPP-1700 terminal are 10.51 x 7.63 x 2.75 inches. The required cutout dimensions for installation are 9.38 x 6.5 inches. The 1785T-PMPP-1700 terminal is UL listed, cUL listed, and CSA listed. It is also CE certified.
