The 5585T-AC Operator Interface is a PanelMate Power Pro series industrial operator interface from Eaton Cutler-Hammer. It has a rugged, easy to use, and reliable design that ensures a fast boot-up process. This device comes with a thin profile that can be easily fitted into deep panel enclosures. Its cutouts make it easy to mount the operator interface in cabinets and enclosures. The 5585T-AC Operator Interface is compatible with a wide variety of industrial network protocols and control interfaces which allow for easy connection to a multitude of control devices. It supports serial devices such as Automation Direct, Siemens, Square D, and Toshiba devices. It also has optional communication interface modules such as the Allen-Bradley DH/Remote I/O, GE Fanuc Genius I/O, and Modicon Modbus Plus modules.

The 5585T-AC Operator Interface is configured with the PanelMate Power Pro configuration software that includes all the tools needed for developing both simple and complex graphical interfaces. Some of the features of this device include the security key switch that can be used with or without software passwords, a fault relay which helps gather communication and power errors, an alarm hirn output to drive external horns, and a color TFT flat panel display. Its 2 built-in touch control functions provide a safe push-button, conveyors, and safety-related equipment controlling functions. The 5585T-AC Operator Interface has some other features such as built-in complex math and logic expressions, device templates, and alarms. This model is also compatible with earlier PanelMate Power Pro Series operator interfaces. It is approved for use in Type 4, 4X, and 12 installations when properly mounted in a correspondingly rated enclosure. Typical uses of this industrial operator interface are machine control, process monitoring, and kiosk applications.
