The GE Fanuc Field Control IC670CHS101 I/O terminal block is a generic wiring connection platform that provides 37 points for inputs or outputs for permitting the establishment of a communication link and for supplying the power source necessary to make 2 GE Fanuc I/O modules operational. The additional modules are mounted onto the GE Fanuc IC670CHS101 I/O terminal block by simple insertion, and the block comes with screws for locking the modules into position and avoiding accidental disconnections caused by excessive vibrations in the panelboard. The terminals known as terminals A and B are used for the connection of the system’s power supply, and the rest can be used as needed by the users' application.



 



The main advantage of the IC670CHS101 terminal block over other similar products is that it comes from the factory with added protection against short circuits or erroneous connections because its terminal points are built as barriers that physically isolate every connection point from the rest. The GE Fanuc IC670CHS101 I/O terminal block has been designed for hot-swap operations, which makes it ideal for applications where downtime has a high cost, and maintenance teams do not have sufficient time for traditional troubleshooting procedures. Each barrier-style terminal connection point allows for up to 2 cables with a size of AWG #14 to AWG #22.
