The IC670MDL330 is a discrete output module from GE Fanuc that is part of the Field control I/O series. This module mainly features Sixteen (16) sourcing output channels that is typically used for energizing electrical loads such as solenoid actuated devices, pilot lamps, relay coils and similar On/Off devices. This module comes with a single group of outputs with each output point delivers a rated voltage of 10-120 VAC and output voltage range of 10-132 VAC, 47-63 Hz. Each channel of the module is has maximum output current of 1 Ampere while the entire module is rated 4 Amperes. Individual LED channel indicators allow users to visually identify the energization state of each channel of the module. It also has a single Fuse OK LED that indicates blown fuse condition. This module has 250 VAC continuous and 1500 VAC 1 minute user input to logic and user input to frame ground isolation. The IC670MDL330 discrete output module output characteristics include ½ cycle response time for both On and Off signal transition. Each output is provided with a resistor / Capacitor snubber circuit and a single fuse for the output group. An inrush current of 10 Amperes, maximum is generated by the output channels at single cycle duration or 20 m. The module’s maximum load current rating is 1.0 Ampere from 10 VAC - 132 VAC while the minimum load current is 10 mA per point. The built-in fuse available to this module is replaceable. Applicable replacement is a 5 Ampere, slow-blow fuse with dimension of 5 x 20 mm.

The GE Fanuc IC670MDL330 output module is a discrete output module that runs on AC voltage in the range of 12 to 120 Volts AC and that has a current rating of 1 Amp. The GE IC670MDL330 discrete output module is part of the GE Field Control series and it comes with 16 output points. All of the outputs are arranged in a single group and they each have a corresponding LED that lets the users know if a particular output is powered on or off. Either the Bus Interface Unit (BIU) or another part of the Field Control system can perform interface duties for the IC670MDL330 discrete output module. These interface duties include the faults reports and the configuration of the default settings for all of the outputs. The GE Fanuc IC670MDL330 discrete output module comes with 2 bytes or 16 bits of discrete output data, and the Bus Interface Unit can be used to obtain this discrete output data from the local processor and/or from the host device. The Bus Interface Unit provides the IC670MDL330 discrete output module with its logic power and sends the module its output data in a serial format. During the transmission process, the IC670MDL330 discrete output module will automatically loop the serial output data back to the Bus Interface Unit so that it can be verified. Serial-to-parallel converter devices can also be used to convert this data into a parallel format if the IC670MDL330 module needs the data to be in a parallel format.
