The IC670MDL930 is a relay output module from the Field control module series of GE Fanuc. This module comes with individually isolated channels, specifically, Six (6) Form A or Normally Open (N.O.) contacts and Two (2) Form C Normally Open (N.O) and Normally Closed (N.C.) contact outputs. Each output contacts are rated 5VDC / 24 VDC / 125 DC or and 120 / 240 VAC nominal voltages with actual voltage ranges of 0-130 VDC, 0-265 VAC, 47-63 Hz and the maximum load current per module is 16 A. The module has a fixed coil, moving armature relay type and has current consumption of 313 mA, maximum. The module comes with typical rating of isolation between input to logic, user input to frame ground and group to group isolation specifically, 250 VAC continuous, 1500 VAC for 1 minute. The module maximum current for resistive loads rated 2.0 Amps from 5 to 265VAC; 2.0 Amps from 5 to 30VDC and 0.2 Amps from 31 to 125VDC while the maximum inrush current is 5 A for 20 ms and maximum load current of 10 mA per input. The module’s response time for ON and Off signal transition are typical which is maximum of 10 ms while the maximum switching frequency of each channel is 20 cycles per minute if used with an inductive load. The contact outputs of the module are made of Silver Alloy with contact resistance of 0.2 ohms at 1 A at 6 VDC. Each contact has operational life of 20 x 10^6 operations (mechanical) and 10^5 operations at rated resistive load (electrical).

The Field Control IC670MDL930 Relay Output Module is an isolated NO/NC relay discrete output module that is made by GE Fanuc. The IC670MDL930 Relay Output Module provides 8 isolated outputs that have 6 normally-open contacts and 2 normally-closed and normally-open contacts. These relays are also referred to as Form A relays and Form C relays, respectively. In order to reduce the high-frequency noise transient, the outputs are suppressed with an RC snubber. The Form A relay has normally-open contacts and the Form C relay has normally open or normally closed contacts. The contacts of the module are made of silver alloy. The mechanical life of the contacts is 20 x 10^6 operations and the electrical life of the contacts is 10^5 operations. The IC670MDL930 Relay Isolated NO/NC Output Module requires more power from the BIU when it has a large number of connected relay output modules. The users must supply an external AC or DC power source to the load which is driven by the contacts. Each output has an indicator LED on the logic side. This module offers fault reporting facilities for efficient operation. It has 8 bits of discrete output data which is processed for use with the bus interface module. The IC670MDL930 Relay Output Module must be supplied with the power needed to energize the relay coils. The maximum load current of the module is 2 Amps at 5 to 265 Volts AC, 2 Amps at 5 to 30 Volts DC, and 0.2 Amps at 31 to 125 Volts DC. It comes with a fixed coil relay type with a moving armature. It draws 313 milliamps of maximum current from the bus interface module power supply in order to power up.
