The Emerson Automation module with catalog number IC660BBA025 is part of the genius I/O series of stand-alone, Genius protocol capable modules. The IC660BBA025 is specifically an analog output block that comes with Six (6) analog input channels, able to accommodate 0-24 mA and 4-20 mA analog signal ranges. Also known as Block I/O modules, the IC660BBA025 has rackless design that can be installed inside an enclosure that provides appropriate protection against industrial elements. This module has is provided with LED status indicator such as Unit OK and I/O enabled LEDs. It comes with a block to block isolation rated 1500V for one minute. This module is also provided with internal diagnostic capability, able to detect Underrange, Overrange and Feedback error. Each channel of the IC660BBA025 has resolution of 6µA with output accuracy of 0.15% of full scale reading and output update frequency of 25ms. Additionally, this module has Thermal drift of 35 PPM per degree Celsius. The IC660BBA025 has an operating temperature of 0degrees C to +60degrees C (+32degrees to +140degrees F) and storage temperature of -40degrees to +100degrees C (-40degrees to +212degrees F) with relative humidity of 5-95%, non-condensing. It must be installed to a flat surface with vibration not exceeding 5-10 Hz 0.2" (5.08mm) displacement, 10-200 Hz at 1G. The IC660BBA025 also has configurable output properties that are highly application to the process. This includes Output hold last state or default, scaling to engineering values, CPU redundancy and output feedback checking. Additionally, fault reporting can be disabled or enabled per circuit. This is practical if some channels are meant to be configured for a certain signal for use in future modification of the system.

The IC660BBA025 Current-Source Output Block is a 24 to 48 Volts DC current-source analog output block manufactured by GE Fanuc. It comes with 6 independent output circuits made to be used with devices that receive 4 to 20 milliamps rated signals. Its isolated output circuits are electrically common to bus switching module outputs. The block itself is made to provide power to the current loops of the output. Its output channels use two 12-bit D/A converters for signal conversion. The analog output data has 12 bytes of output data and 2 bytes of engineering data. The power supply voltage of the module is 18 to 56 Volts DC and the maximum current is 600 milliamps. The IC660BBA025 Current-Source Output Block performs a wide variety of diagnostics including output under range and over range diagnostics, output feedback error diagnostics, and CPU/internal fault reporting. It reports all the above-stated errors to the handheld monitor, so that the users can take the necessary action to address the errors. It also detects hardware faults and wiring errors in output circuits as well as the current level of the circuit to report output feedback errors. Make sure to increase the feedback time if the module reports nuisance diagnostics due to lack of time. For input bus switching devices and field wiring, the users can use Terminals 5 to 32 of the module. The bus switching module does not have a polarity. The Unit OK status LED blinks to inform the users that an error is being diagnosed. The IC660BBA025 Current-Source Output Block cannot be configured for controller redundancy or standby redundancy.
