The IC660ELB905 interface board is a network adapter interface board manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation as part of the Genius I/O series. The GE Fanuc IC660ELB905 genius network interface board supports a handheld monitor, and an I/O Block that is backward-compatible. It also features diagnostics features which help to keep the unit fully operational. Other features of this interface board include the CPU which helps to keep track of the feedback state, and every single circuit has an LED indicator for showing different signals. The IC660ELB905 interface board weighs approximately 1 pound and it operates on a voltage of 115 Volts AC or 125 Volts DC. This interface board is fully compatible with the GE IC660HHM501 handheld monitor. The handheld monitor is required to help change the baud rate configuration or to configure the IC660ELB905 network adapter interface board for redundancy.

 

The GE Fanuc IC660ELB905 network adapter interface board is an isolation board with 4 separate groups of circuits comprising both input and output circuits. Each of these circuits can operate while using a nominal voltage of 115 Volts AC or 125 Volts DC. This means the interface board can run on either AC or DC power. The IC660ELB905 interface board can be used with any GE Fanuc Genius bus controller, QBIM, or PCIM device. This interface board is backward-compatible with the earlier interface board versions and it can be used as replacement parts for those versions. However, the terminal assembly of this interface board is not backward-compatible. The network adapter interface board is also well matched with the electronics assembly from the GE Genius I-O series and it may be used as a replacement for some electronics assemblies.
