The IC660ERD020 24/48 Volts DC rated source electronics assembly belongs to GE Fanuc Genius I/O series of modules and module components. This electronics assembly acts as the microprocessor unit of the I/O block that hosts it. It performs communicational tasks and computations within the block as well as data storage functions. The IC660ERD020 electronics assembly is compatible with the GE IC660BRD020 24/48 Volts DC I/O block and the GE IC660TRD020 terminal assembly. Even though all the wiring which is attached to the terminal block is fixed, the users can insert and remove the electronics assembly without changing the field wiring. The fault description byte of the fault report has a separate bit to indicate the EEPROM faults that can occur on this electronic assembly module.
