The IC660HHM501 is a GE Fanuc manufactured hardware. This electronic device is a Hand Held Monitor (HHM) that is part of the Genius product series. It enable users to monitor I/O Data for any device on the bus, Diagnostics, Bus Scan time, Descriptions of all devices on the bus, global data addresses, Memory Data from CPUs on the bus.

Additionally, the IC660HHM501 is also capable of being used for hardware configuration, fault clearing, I/O forcing and bus selection. It also permits set-up of security to restrict and managed the access to different information and capabilities of this Hand-Held Monitor (HHM). The HHM is a convenient device for carrying out commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting activities. It can directly access I/O blocks, simulate and force discrete and analog data within the CPU register.

The IC660HHM501 features an LCD display that is capable of displaying Four (4) lines of information where up to Sixteen (16) characters may be displayed in each line. This provides the user readout and information. As means of interaction, the IC660HHM501 HHM is provided with a Twenty (20) key sealed membrane keypad that is composed of function keys, decimal keys and operation keys. These provided keypad allow users to input the appropriate commands. This HHM is also equipped with a keyswitch to prevent unwanted access to some functions, depending on the selected restrictions. To operate this HHM, external supply voltage is required to be supplied through it power input ports. Appropriate voltage supply is 115VAC or 230VAC. Additionally, the provided battery pack may also be used to power this HHM.

The keypad of the module consists of functions keys, decimal keys, and operation keys for providing reliable operations. The IC660HHM501 hand-held monitor comes with a battery pack that offers up to 6 hours of operation without connected power. It has passed the drop test, in which it is dropped from a height of 4 feet onto a concrete floor. Some of the optional accessories which can be purchased separately for the hand-held monitor are an external HHM connector which can provide a permanent HHM connection on the genius Bus, a 230 Volts AC rated power adapter, extra HHM keys, and a battery charger. The module can be mounted behind the panel by using the metal mounting brackets that are provided. If it is mounted this way, the users must install an extra D-shell connector that is also provided with the module. The IC660HHM501 hand-held monitor is a reliable operator interface device that is made to display I/O data for any connected devices. This data includes the bus data, diagnostics data, the memory data of the CPUs, the bus scan time, and the global data addresses.
