GE Fanuc manufactures the ES0611 QuickPanel View display module as part of the GE QuickPanel product series. It runs on an input power of 24 Volts DC and it has a 6-inch color display with the touchscreen input option. This QuickPanel display module features the Proficy View-Machine Edition software, the HMI-CAB-CS7 communication cable, and the RS-232 and RS-485 communication options. It has dimensions of 14 x 12 x 10 inches and it weighs approximately 5 pounds. The GE Fanuc ES0611 QuickPanel View display module and the entire product line features a state-of-art design that meets operator interface demands through the multipurpose displays as well as the GE’s Proficy View-Machine Edition software. It ships ready for use and easy to configure. The ES0611 QuickPanel View features the Intel x-scale PXA255 microprocessor and it uses comprehensive integration for offering high performance with a compact footprint. It runs on the Microsoft Windows CE.NET operating system, with a 32-bit graphical user interface. This operating system is widely applicable in portable computers as well as in human-machine interfaces. The operating system of this QuickPanel View display module is copied to the DRAM for execution and stored in a 16-megabyte FLASH block memory. While the touchscreen is the primary input module, keyboard shortcuts can also be convenient for this purpose. The ES0611 QuickPanel View display module stores any changes that are made to the flash memory and this is convenient because the device is not battery-powered.
