Manufactured by GE Fanuc, the ES0623 display is a QuickPanel control display panel with a 6-inch display screen. The ES0623 display supports the RS-232 and the RS-4845 communication protocols. It comes with the HMI-CAB-CS512 communication cable while the input power is rated at 24 Volts DC. The ES0623 features the Proficy View Machine Edition software and it runs on the Windows CE operating software. The ES0623 display weighs 5 pounds while the shipping dimensions are 14 x 12 x 10 inches. The ES0623 display supports an optional USB mouse. Therefore, for users who prefer using the external mouse for display control and data entry, connect it through the supported universal serial board port. The ES0623 display features a pre-installed USB driver for the mouse and so the users will not be required to run any setup operation for the mouse to be used, and so it is a plug and play mouse.

The ES0623 display also features 2 serial data communication ports. These are the COM1 and the COM2ports. The COM1 serial port is usually a general-purpose bidirectional serial data channel, and it meets the EIA232C and the EIA485 electrical standards. To access and configure the COM1 serial port, the users have the option to use the port via a modem link or a dial-up remote networking connection. The ES0623 display’s COM2 serial port is usually mounted on the bottom of the unit’s enclosure, providing the standard signals. For enhanced capability with additional flash memory, the unit features the Compact Flash on its side. The Compact Flash card is then inserted in the port that is front-facing.
