Manufactured by GE Fanuc, the ES0812 display is a QuickPanel control display panel featured in the GE Fanuc series of QuickPanel Control units. The ES0812 display features an input power rating of 24 Volts DC and it comes with the Proficy View Machine Edition software. The unit weighs up to 10 pounds and the shipping dimensions are 16 x 14 x 8 inches. The ES0812 display features an 8-inch display screen and it uses the touchscreen input type. It comes with the RS-485 and the RS-232 communication types. The ES0812 display also supports the HMI-CAB-CS14 communication cable. The 8-inch GE Fanuc QuickPanel control hardware and software works with the Windows CE operating system and it supports the HTTP file transfer protocol.

The ES0812 display also supports a variety of communication ports, and the expansion bus that allows the unit to have great flexibility in applications. To allow access to the expansion bus connector, open the back of the QuickPanel display. Other devices that can be accessed from the back of the QuickPanel include the memory expansion connector, the DIP switches, and the battery. However, before opening the back of the ES0812 display, ensure that the power is disconnected from the device. Avoid working on a live unit because this might result in equipment damage, or even in user injury. Ensure that all of the anti-static precautions are observed, including wearing a grounded wrist strap when accessing the unit’s interior. The use of conductive material, whether solid or liquid when touching the unit’s electronic parts can result in serious injury. To ensure the prolonged life of the device, make sure it is stored in a none-corrosive environment.
