The General Electronic ES1522 QuickPanel View computer is a highly advanced control computer with a touchscreen display interface and high-speed processing. It is designed to provide higher performance control, visualization, and increased productivity in a wide variety of industrial automation systems. The ES1522 computer comes with the 32-bit Microsoft Windows CE.NET operating system that provides a highly intuitive user interface for application development, and it supports third-party applications for more application flexibility. The ES1522 computer has a DC power source with 24 Volts DC operating voltage rating, and a net output rating of 48 Watts. Application data is processed faster through its advanced Intel XScale PXA255 processor. It comes with 64 MB of flash memory split between the user’s application storage (48 MB), and the non-accessible Windows CE operating system. The users application data is protected and stored in the case of a power failure via a battery-backed 512 KB SRAM unit, and for applications requiring larger memory capacities, the system memory can be expanded to 128 MB via a memory expansion slot.

The ES1522 computer has 2 additional USB ports, 1 FieldBus slot, and a compact flash memory slot. This device has 2 Ethernet (LAN1, and LAN2) R-45 type connector ports for connection to the Ethernet/IP network, and a Serial communication port (RS-485/RS-232) with a transmission speed of up to 115200 bits per second. The ES1522 computer provides a visual interface via its 15-inch TFT LCD screen with 1024 by 768 pixels of native resolution, and a luminance rating of up to 500 NITS. It offers a resistive touch surface for navigation and control, and the operators can easily enter data or configure applications via its simulated on-screen keyboard. The ES1522 computer has an operating ambient temperature range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius and it can be used at a 10 to 90% relative humidity level.
